GPRS limit in roaming |

HOW TO CONTROL OUR GPRS BILL IN ROAMING
According to the EU Roaming regulation, GLOBUL provides a protective mechanism, which will enhance the avoidance of high roaming GPRS bills.
As of 1 July 2010 all customers who have a monthly subscription plan and a roaming service activated, will have the GPRS limit in roaming activated. The limit will be applicable for all EU countries and will be of 117.35 BGN (VAT inclusive). The service can be activated or deactivated at any given time after 1 July 2010.
How does the GPRS limit in roaming service work
When 80% of the limit is reached you will receive a text message informing you about this. You will also receive an additional message stating that the service will be disabled when 100% of the limit is reached. The second message will also contain information on how to proceed in order to continue using the service.
If you wish to continue using the GPRS service in roaming after reaching 100% of the set limit, you can choose between one of the following options:
- Dial *124#
(free of charge) and choose option 3
- Send a text message to 1215 (you will be charged the price of a text message in roaming within the European Union)
- Call 123 (you will be charged the price of a phone call in roaming within the European Union)
In case you opt in to continue using the GPRS in roaming service, your limit of 117.35 BGN (VAT inclusive) is reset at the beginning of your next billing period.
In case your GPRS limit in roaming service is suspended at reaching 100% of the limit and you wish to have it reactivated, you must restart your mobile device.
How to deactivate the GPRS limit in roaming
If you wish to deactivate the GPRS limit in roaming service, you have the following options:
- Dial *124#
(free of charge) and choose option 2
- Send “STOP” as a text message to 1214 (you will be charged the price of a text message in roaming within the European Union)
- Visit a GLOBUL store and fill in a deactivation request
- Call 123 (you will be charged the price of a phone call in roaming within the European Union)
In that case only the main credit limit will be applicable. When the latter limit is reached, the GPRS in roaming service will be disabled (in that case it is of no importance whether the GPRS limit in roaming limit is reached or not).
In case you deactivate your limit and later on wish to have it reactivated, you need to do one of the following:
- Dial *124#
(free of charge) and choose option 1
- Send “A” as a text message to 1214
- File a request for reactivation in a GLOBUL store
Customers who use Data SIM cards can activate or deactivate the GPRS limit in roaming service, or opt in to continue using GPRS after the limit is reached only by sending a text message.
