To provide higher transperancy and convenience for all of its clients, GLOBUL introduces a GPRS roaming safe limit of BGN 117.35 (EUR 60), VAT inclusive. The introduction of this safe limit is in line with the EU regulations and will allow GLOBUL subscribers to control their GPRS roaming expenses and to avoid unwanted large bills.

From March 1 to July 1, 2010, all GLOBUL residential customers may state their wish to activate or not the GPRS roaming charge safe limit at any GLOBUL, GERMANOS or official partner shop or by dialling *124#, pressing the dial button and choosing option 1 from the menu.

On July 1, GLOBUL will activate the GPRS roaming limit to all residential subscribers that had not stated they do not want it activated for their numbers. Activation or deactivation of the limit is possible at any later moment and is free of charge.

GLOBUL clients with activated GRPS roaming charge limits wil receive notification SMS when they reach 80% and 100% of the limit, respectively. Subscribers may opt to continue using GPRS in roaming by dialling *124#, pressing the dial button and choosing option 3 from the menu; otherwise the service will be disabled automatically upon reaching 100% of the limit.

Presently, GLOBUL has roaming agreements with over 400 operators in some 180 countries and territories across the globe.
