iPhone is being manufactured by the American company Apple Inc.
3. Can I deactivate the 3G/GPRS connection, while I am outside Bulgaria?
Yes, you can. For this purpose you need to go to “Settings -> General -> Network -> Data Roaming -> OFF”. The function is deactivated by default.
4. What is iTunes?
iTunes is an application, which is used to synchronize all supported files between your iPhone and your computer (e-mail, pictures, music and video files and others).
5. What is iTunes Store and App Store and what is the difference?
iTunes Store gives you access to paid and free music and video files, as well as audio books. This part of iTunes Store that gives you access to applications for your iPhone is called App Store.
In order to be able to download content you need an iTunes account. By choosing Bulgaria during the registration process you will be granted access to App Store (applications, games, books, etc.), iTunes U (collection of educational media ) and Podcasts (series of audio or video files that are released episodically).
6. Why do I need an iTunes Store registration?
By registering in iTunes Store you get access to free and paid applications, music, video clips, etc. Without an iTunes Store registration, you will not be able to download any content, you will be able only to browse the content in iTunes Store.

9. What do I need to synchronize my iPhone to my computer?
In order to synchronize your iPhone with content from your computer, you need:
- to start the iTunes application on your computer

12. What type of GPS and what applications for positioning does iPhone use? Do I need an internet connection?
iPhone has an integrated GPS receiver with A-GPS function and can position your location through GLOBUL's cells network. The application that iPhones 3GS and iPhone 3G use is Google Maps, which needs internet connection through 3G/GPRS or Wi-Fi.
13. What subscription programs can I buy iPhone with?
You can purchase iPhone from GLOBUL with GLOBUL Web&Talk or GLOBUL UNITED subscription programs. They give you unlimited MB for mobile internet and included minutes and SMS-es to GLOBUL network.
14. I use some of the i250, i500, i750, i1000 and i2000. May I switch to another subscription program?
Yes. If you already have an iPhone, you could switch to GLOBUL Web&Talk or GLOBUL UNITED programs.
15. Are the subscription programs for iPhone suitable for internet usage?
Yes, all subscription programs, offered for iPhone, provide you with included MB for mobile internet. The traffic included could be used only via access point (APN) - globul, and only within GLOBUL network. In case of traffic in roaming, charging is done according to the prices of the respective operator. The included MB are consumed by all applications which are connected to Internet - e.g. browsers, e-mail, widgets, etc.
16. Is the iPhone devices locked to the GLOBUL network?
Yes. The phones offered with subscription programs from GLOBUL can be used only with a GLOBUL SIM card.
17. How to upgrade iPhone software?
- Make sure you are using latest iTunes version and you have connection to the Internet.
- Connect your iPhone to the computer with data cable. It's recommended to remove PIN code on your SIM card.
- When iTunes opens, select your iPhone under "Devices" in the Source List on the left.
- In the iPhone Summary pane, click "Check for Update".
- Click "Download and Install".
- Make sure not to disconnect your iPhone until the update has finished.
18. Could I activate GoWeb Unlimited packages for iPhone?
GoWeb Unlimited packages are available for activation with i250, i500 and i750 programs. Subscribers of these programs should have in mind that megabytes on maximum speed are spent with the highest priority, thus replacing any megabytes included in their postpaid program. 19. What do I need to use FaceTime feature of my iPhone?
DaceTime is available only for iPhone 4 devices in Wi-Fi coverage. In order to use the service, you need to activate it on your phone, via General settings -> Phone -> FaceTime -> ON. Upon activation, you will be prompted for potential charging and SMS to Apple server abroad will be send automatically. Charging is done according to your rate plan.
