Porting of fixed numbers in Globul’s network
Step 1: Visit a shop from GLOBUL’s sales network and submit an Application for port in, with which you request to port in your fixed number you are currently using with another operator in GLOBUL’s network.
Do not forget that:
- Porting a fixed number is free-of-charge.
- You have to be the contract holder of the fixed number you want to port in or you need to be duly authorized.
- You should not have any invoiced liabilities towards your current operator.
- At the time you file the application, you should have used the services of your current operator for at least 3 (three) months.
- The fixed number(s) you want to port in have to be active at the time of application.

For your convenience GLOBUL will inform you when the fixed number is activated in GLOBUL network.
Terms for port in
The maximum terms for porting of numbers defined by law is 7 business days.
Activation in GLOBUL network
Until the port in procedure is completed you will continue to use the services of your current operator. With the activation of your fixed number in GLOBUL network, it will be deactivated in the old one.
Consumer protection
- Your current operator does not have the right to contact you, after you have expressed your desire to port out the number, in order to discuss the advantages or disadvantages from the change of the operator or in order to make new offers, changes in the tariff plans and other conditions.
- When you make call to a number, ported in other network, GLOBUL will inform you via a beep signal with a 3 seconds length. After the signal, you will be given additional one second, in order to make a decision whether continue with the call or to stop it. The time of the duration of the beep signal, as well as the two seconds after it, are not billed. GLOBUL bills only calls with a successfully established connection with the called party. You can deactivate the beep signal and activate it again when you want by dialing *123 (the automatic information service of GLOBUL) and choose option 4.
- The beep signal is approved by the Communications Regulation Commission and could be heard online.
